About This Project

An African Experience

Designed Around Our Themed Decor

SA Event Decor created a vibrant African-inspired corporate event environment at the Indaba Hotel, Spa and Conference Centre, combining bold colour, patterned fabrics, exclusive pallet furniture and carefully selected African decorative elements.

The design featured a mix of rich reds, oranges, yellows, blues and greens, balanced with natural timber tones and African-inspired patterns. SA Event Decor’s exclusive pallet furniture formed the main lounge areas, styled with bright cushions and selected décor to create a relaxed and inviting setting for guests.

Printed fabrics, patterned runners, African dolls, natural materials and simple floral accents added texture and personality while keeping the look polished and uncluttered. The outdoor setting provided the perfect backdrop for the colourful styling, creating an open, social and interactive corporate environment.

The African Burst of Colour Concept

The design was built around a confident African-inspired colour palette featuring rich reds, oranges, yellows, blues and greens. These vivid colours were balanced with natural timber tones to create a warm and energetic overall look.

SA Event Decor used layers of printed fabrics, patterned cushions, African-inspired decorative elements and natural materials to build the theme without overwhelming the outdoor setting.

The result was a polished interpretation of an African safari-inspired environment, designed specifically for a relaxed corporate function.

Exclusive SA Event Decor Pallet Furniture

One of the defining features of the setup was SA Event Decor’s exclusive upmarket pallet furniture.

The natural timber furniture formed the foundation of the lounge environment and provided comfortable areas for guests to sit, relax and interact. Bright patterned cushions were used to introduce colour and personality while keeping the furniture itself as a strong focal point.

The styling was intentionally restrained around the furniture, allowing the distinctive pallet pieces, vibrant cushions and surrounding décor to work together without creating a cluttered appearance.

Colour, Pattern and African-Inspired Details

The African theme was developed through a carefully selected combination of colour, pattern and texture.

Printed fabrics and patterned cushions introduced strong visual interest, while patterned runners, fabric-wrapped vessels, simple floral accents and decorative African dolls added layers of detail.

The natural timber tones of the pallet furniture helped balance the vivid colour palette and provided a warm foundation for the brighter décor elements.

Outdoor Corporate Event Styling

The setting at Indaba Hotel, Spa and Conference Centre allowed SA Event Decor’s décor to take centre stage.

The open outdoor environment complemented the relaxed lounge furniture and encouraged guests to move freely between the different areas. The combination of colourful décor and informal seating created an inviting corporate atmosphere that encouraged conversation and interaction.
